a visionary crow
nonchalantly sat on a top of a scarecrow's head
something tall to speak to other crows from
and to the sparrows in the field
he had ideas in his head
he wanted the field to be painted red
and yellow and orange with zigzagy neon lights
he would know how to make it fun for all birds
but only the corn ears could hear
and the wind cradled drying corn plants
in its own style cheer
